About Sharon

Hey y’all!  Thank you for stopping by CTL!  I’m Sharon – I am a wife, a full-time work-at-home mompreneur!  Which means I am married to the love of my life, Zach, and stay home and take care of our little girl, Reaghan while building a business! It’s a life I love!

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and lived up there for eight years before moving to Colorado, where I’ve been for 22 years (if you do the math, you’ll see I’m now 30 years old….YIKES!)  While I don’t think I could ever move back full-time, Alaska is a special and will always have a spot in my heart.  I love going back.

After graduating high school with an IB diploma, I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado (go Rams).  I was young and ambitious and thought I could do it all in life, so I entered college having declared a double major and double minor.  I learned quickly that because everything was pretty much unrelated (Equine Science, Interior Design, Business, Construction Management, respectively), it made no sense to pursue all of those things.  So, I trimmed down and graduated with a major in Equine Science, minor in Business and a Residential Interiors certificate.  I had it planned that I would graduate and move to a coast (East or West) and pursue a profession with horses, working towards an international career.

However, God had other plans.  When I was nineteen, I met my future/current husband, Zach.  And it changed everything.  I realized that what I thought I wanted paled in comparison to what God wanted for me.  Once the right man walked into my life, I realized that what I wanted was a marriage, home, family and life with him.  So, I took a job in sales when I graduated and stayed local.

It didn’t take long for me to realize that I do NOT enjoy sales, so I took a job as the office manager/secretary of a small, local law firm. I quickly grew in that position and became a paralegal/office manager.

When Zach and I got pregnant, we began preparations for me to stay home with our child.  For years, we discussed our hopes of me being home with our children when the time came. The transition wasn’t easy, but I am BEYOND thankful for the blessing of being home with my girl.

While being home – being a wife, mother, homemaker, etc. – is a passion and priority of mine and something for which I am grateful, I am a driven person and I love entrepreneurship.  I love building a business.  Working that business.  Creating things.  Learning things.  Helping others.  So, while pursuing a business with horses was not the right fit for my family in this season of life (I closed the doors to my training business in May of 2018), I continued to search for the avenue that would fill the hole left by leaving the professional world behind.Fast forward a bit, and I am officially an entrepreneur again!  I am a Founding Director with a luxury beauty and personal care brand.  I am a blogger (obviously) and influencer!  I love developing and building my brand, growing my following, adding to my presence and MORE!  This is SUCH a gift – this life of freedom!
